Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language Program
A unique three week opportunity to share Japanese language and culture with students in Melbourne, Australia.
It develops your spoken English and gives you the chance to teach in an Australian school and foster understanding of the Japanese language and culture.
During the program students learn English and assist an experienced teacher of Japanese at a Victorian Government School to teach Primary or Secondary students.
The program runs in February and August during breaks in the Japanese Academic year.
It is available to students of select Japanese Universities.
Since 1998 more than 250 students have participated in the program.
This exciting program provides an unforgettable experience of life in Melbourne, Australia. You will meet students from Japanese universities, gain excellent classroom experience and establish ties with an Australian homestay family and school community.
The 3 week program includes:
- One week English tuition
- Two weeks in a work placement and homestay
The total cost of the Program includes:
