2023 ATAR Success Stories

When you complete the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) in Years 11 and 12, you get an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) score. The ATAR score compares graduating students across all of their studies. It ranks how well you performed against the rest of the Australian student population.

Your ATAR score determines which Australian university and courses you can access for your university study. Many university courses have prerequisite studies and/or require certain combinations of studies and additional entry requirements.

Victorian international students succeed because teachers invest their time in creating the right learning environment. This helps students to constantly achieve better results. Approximately 97.4% of students from Victorian government schools successfully completed VCE in 2023.
